Heat the oven to 160°C / 320°F and line a 23 cm round tin.

Melt the butter, chocolate, sugar and hot water over low heat, stirring until smooth. Cool for 10 minutes.

Whisk in the milk, eggs and vanilla. Sift in the flours and cocoa and whisk until smooth.

Pour into the tin and bake for 60 minutes until set with a slightly damp skewer. Cool completely in the tin.
