How to Cook Panini

  1. Brush the outsides of the rolls with the oil. Layer the mozzarella, tomato, ham and basil inside and season with the salt.

  2. Heat a heavy frying pan over medium heat. Cook the sandwiches, pressing down with a second pan, for 3 minutes per side, until golden and melted.

  3. Rest for 1 minute and cut diagonally.
