Root Beer Float
Scoops of vanilla ice cream in a tall glass, covered with cold root beer. The fizz turns the top of the ice cream into a creamy foam.
Method

Put a tall glass in the freezer for 10 minutes to chill.

Put the scoops of ice cream in the glass.

Pour the root beer slowly down the inside of the glass. The foam will rise, so stop and let it settle, then top up.

Add a swirl of whipped cream and serve at once with a straw and a long spoon.
