-
Mix the mozzarella, pepperoni, 4 tbsp pizza sauce and oregano in a bowl.
-
Lay a wrapper in a diamond shape. Put 1 heaped tablespoon of filling in the centre. Wet the edges with water, fold in the sides and roll up tightly.
-
Heat the air fryer to 190°C / 375°F. Brush the rolls with the olive oil.
-
Cook in a single layer for 10 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp.
-
Rest for 2 minutes and serve with the warm pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes From the Method
Do not overfill, or the cheese will burst through the seam.
Seal the edges firmly with water.
Make a batch and freeze the uncooked rolls on a tray.
Swaps and Variations
- Fresh herbs work in place of the dried oregano at roughly three times the quantity — a teaspoon of dried is about a tablespoon of fresh, chopped.
Storing and Reheating
Uncooked rolls freeze for 1 month; cook from frozen with 3 extra minutes. Cooked ones keep for 1 day.
