How to Make Drunken Noodles

  1. Soak the noodles in warm water for 15 minutes until bendy, then drain. Mix the oyster sauce, soy sauces and sugar.

  2. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat. Fry the garlic and chillies for 15 seconds, add the chicken and fry for 3 minutes.

  3. Add the pepper, noodles and sauce and toss for 3 minutes until the noodles take on colour.

  4. Stir in the basil and serve at once.
